York Welcomes Young Talent for Miss Pennsylvania and Miss Pennsylvania’s Teen Competitions
Tonight, York is set to shine as 22 women and 18 teens, including local favorite Jaylyn Resh, take the stage for the preliminary rounds of the Miss Pennsylvania and Miss Pennsylvania’s Teen Competitions. The event marks the beginning of a thrilling search for the new titleholders in the prestigious Miss Pennsylvania 2025 pageant.
Eighteen-year-old Jaylyn Resh, representing York County as Miss York County’s Teen, will showcase her baton twirling skills. In addition to her talent, Resh is passionate about her community service initiative, “Feeding Futures — Building Dreams One Meal at a Time,” reflecting her dedication to supporting those in need. This fall, she is also set to join Virginia Tech as their featured twirler, further highlighting her impressive skills.
The preliminaries will encompass various facets, including talent, fitness, evening wear, and community service initiatives. Following these preliminary events, the Miss Pennsylvania’s Teen Finals will take place Friday, alongside the second night of Miss Pennsylvania Preliminaries. The grand finals for Miss Pennsylvania will conclude the weekend on Saturday, all hosted at The Appell Center.
In addition to the excitement of competition, the Miss PA Scholarship Foundation will award a remarkable $75,000 in scholarships to the contestants, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to fostering talent and education.
As these young women embark on their individual journeys, they not only strive for the coveted titles but also embody the spirit of empowerment and community service that the Miss Pennsylvania organization champions. All eyes will be on York as it prepares for a spectacular weekend of talent and achievement.
