University of Pennsylvania Announces Exciting 2025 Volleyball Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania’s head volleyball coach, Meredith Schamun, unveiled the Quakers’ 2025 schedule, emphasizing a commitment to rigorous competition and player development. "The team is hungry to compete this fall, and we’ve scheduled accordingly to challenge ourselves," said Schamun, who has led the program since March 2020. With several starters returning and a talented group of newcomers, the Quakers are poised to make an impact this season as they aim for the Ivy League Tournament.

The season kicks off the weekend after Labor Day at the UCI Invitational in California, running from September 5-7. Following that, the team will head to Baltimore for the Tiger Invitational on September 12-13. The home opener is set for September 17 against NJIT, followed by a city rivalry match versus Temple on September 23.

Ivy League play begins with a home match against Princeton on September 26, launching a series of three consecutive home games, including matches with Yale and Brown on October 3-4. The Quakers will also celebrate Alumni Weekend on October 17-18, welcoming Columbia and Cornell.

The team’s schedule includes five additional road matches against Ivy rivals, concluding the regular season with home contests against Dartmouth and Harvard on November 14-15. The top four teams in the Ivy standings will qualify for the Ivy League Tournament, scheduled for November 21-22, hosted by the regular-season champion.

For fans eager to follow the Quakers throughout the season, updates will be shared across social media and the Penn Athletics website. Coach Schamun and her squad anticipate a dynamic and competitive season ahead.
