Nikki Haley urges Pennsylvania voters to ‘set aside emotions’ and choose Trump

Haley Urges Voters to Support Trump in Pennsylvania Campaign Stop

WARRENDALE, Pa. — Nikki Haley, former U.S. ambassador to the UN and a recent GOP presidential candidate, urged Pennsylvania voters to set aside their feelings about former President Donald Trump and support him as they rally behind Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick. Speaking at events near Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Haley emphasized the need to prioritize policies over emotions for the sake of future generations.

Addressing a crowd at a bar in Warrendale, Haley acknowledged the divisive nature of Trump, saying, “It’s noisy out there,” but insisted, “Dave McCormick can’t win if we don’t elect Donald Trump at the top of the ticket.” The duo attracted a sizable crowd, with some attendees wearing Trump merchandise.

Haley emphasized Trump’s understanding of critical issues, including economic recovery and national security. Although she was a vocal critic of Trump during her campaign, she remains committed to his success, stating, “We want Donald Trump to win.”

Competing with Vice President Kamala Harris for voters, Haley implored both Republicans and Democrats to unite in supporting McCormick, as “What happens here will decide the presidency,” according to McCormick. State Sen. Camera Bartolotta called on attendees to persuade Democratic relatives to support McCormick, highlighting the close nature of the race.

While she has yet to share the stage with Trump since their rivalry, Haley indicated that she’s ready for a joint appearance if scheduling permits. However, she has voiced concern over some of Trump’s rallies and called for a change in tone, emphasizing the need for a more inclusive approach to attract female voters.

As both parties intensify their outreach efforts in this critical swing state, the upcoming election remains intensely competitive.
