Local Gymnast Nina Davis Wins Pennsylvania Vault Title
READING, Pa. – Twelve-year-old Nina Davis from Wyomissing has achieved a significant milestone in her gymnastics career by winning the vault title at the Pennsylvania Gymnastics Championship. A mix of excitement and nerves swept over her as she awaited her name to be called for the podium. “When they called my name, I was so happy, like all the butterflies went away in my stomach," she shared.
Nina’s journey began at Berks Gymnastics Academy, where she has spent countless hours training. "When she was four, she was shy, but now she holds her head up,” her parents reflected, proud of their daughter’s transformation. Nina’s victory marks not just a personal achievement, but also highlights the impact of steadfast dedication and support from her coaches and peers.
