Owen Schlager Earns All-State Honors Again
Owen Schlager, the star player from Trinity, has solidified his status as a top contender in Pennsylvania high school basketball by earning All-State recognition once more. This announcement was made on Sunday when the Pennsylvania Sports Writers unveiled the 2025 All-State teams for 3A boys basketball. Schlager, a senior, made headlines this year by setting the all-time scoring record for his program, further highlighting his significant impact on the court.
In a year filled with exceptional talent, Josh Pratt from Aliquippa was named Player of the Year, demonstrating his prowess as a standout junior. Equal recognition was given to Miguel Bocachica of West Catholic and Tony DiCenzo of South Allegheny, who were honored as Co-Coaches of the Year, celebrating their influential roles in guiding their teams throughout the season.
The All-State teams featured a diverse lineup of players demonstrating skill and talent across the board.
