Fan Expo Philadelphia Set to Unite Diverse Fandoms This Spring
Philadelphia will welcome thousands of fans this spring as the Fan Expo rolls into the Pennsylvania Convention Center from May 16 to 18. This convention promises a vibrant celebration of science fiction, horror, fantasy, comic books, gaming, and anime, attracting enthusiasts from all corners of the pop culture universe—including "White Lotus" conspiracy theorists and fluent Klingon speakers.
The event will feature an impressive lineup of celebrity guests, including beloved stars from the "Star Wars" saga. Fans can meet John Boyega, who portrayed Finn, alongside Giancarlo Esposito, Andy Serkis, and Anthony Daniels, famously known as C-3PO. Notable "Star Trek" figures William Shatner and Kate Mulgrew will also make appearances, alongside other stars like John Cena, Dolph Lundgren, and Jodie Whittaker, the first woman to portray the Doctor in "Doctor Who."
Additional highlights include cast members from the recently concluded season of "The White Lotus," such as Walton Goggins and Parker Posey. Attendees can look forward to exciting activities beyond celebrity panels, including cosplay meetups, comic sketch duels, video game tournaments, and even children’s lightsaber training.
The convention floor will be open on Friday from 4 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Single-day adult tickets start at $39, varying based on day and special add-ons.
Mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable weekend celebrating the best of pop culture!
