The University of Pennsylvania men’s golf team had a solid performance during the first day of the Princeton Invitational, despite the tournament being shortened to 18 holes due to standing water on the course. Penn shot a team score of 311, putting them in a tie for 12th place with Cornell. Senior Ben Scott led the team with a 4-over-par 75, tying for 30th place individually. Sophomores Max Fonseca and Hayden Adams both finished the day at 76, tying for 41st, while freshman Ryan Chang also contributed to the team score.
