The University of Pennsylvania men’s and women’s track & field teams are gearing up for a busy weekend as they travel to Tampa, Fla. for the South Florida Invitational and Lewisburg, Pa. for the Bison Outdoor Classic. Last week, the teams had a successful outing at the Transatlantic Series, where they dominated against Oxford and Cambridge.
The Penn-Cornell women emerged victorious with a score of 14-6, while the Penn-Cornell men also claimed victory with a score of 13-5. Notable performances included Angeludi Asaah breaking the school record in the women’s shot put, Evangeline Thomson and Meghan Hart tying for second in the pole vault, and Stella Inman and Mary Rozier making their mark in the discus and long jump events respectively.
