Hershey Restaurant Reopens with New Steakhouse Menu and Elevated Pub Fare

The Hotel Hershey is set to open a new restaurant, the 1933 Restaurant & Tavern, for the first time in 15 years on April 17th. The tavern promises to blend timeless culinary classics with modern comfort, offering a steakhouse menu alongside elevated pub fare, signature cocktails, and curated draft beer and wine selections. The name of the restaurant pays tribute to the year the hotel opened during Milton S. Hershey’s “Great Building” campaign in 1933.

The tavern features artwork celebrating Hershey’s legacy, including historical photos from the 1930s and a cocktail menu commemorating the end of Prohibition. Menu highlights include fried burrata caprese, cheesesteak potato skins, a seafood tower, and gluten-free Bowcreek angus meatloaf. The renovated 5,500-square-foot space offers views of the Blue Mountain and a stained-glass ceiling, with a horseshoe-shaped bar, booth seating, and televisions.

The restaurant will serve lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, with reservations available on the hotel’s website. This is not the first time Hershey Entertainment has rebranded its restaurants; in 2023 it replaced Hershey Grill with Stacks at The Hershey Lodge, and in early 2020 it opened Revelry Chophouse at the Hershey Lodge. The 1933 Restaurant & Tavern promises to be a new culinary destination at the Hotel Hershey, offering a unique blend of classic and modern flavors in a historic setting.
