Fletcher and Kerico earn spot in NCAA Regionals

The NCAA has announced the regional and individual qualifiers for the 2025 National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championship, with freshman Mimi Fletcher and junior Skyelar Kerico set to represent the University of Pennsylvania. Kerico will compete in the all-around at the regional hosted by Penn State, while Fletcher will compete on the balance beam. The regional will take place from April 2-6.

Kerico had a stellar 2024 campaign and continued her success in 2025, earning multiple honors and breaking records in the Gymnastics East Conference (GEC). She will be competing in multiple events at the regional championship. Fletcher, a beam specialist, had an impressive first season at Penn and will be showcasing her skills at the upcoming regional.

Kerico and Fletcher’s qualifications mark a significant achievement for the Penn gymnastics program. Kerico is the first Quaker to compete in all-around at NCAA’s since Head Coach Kirsten Becker in 2013, while Fletcher becomes only the second Penn freshman in history to qualify for NCAA Regionals.
