The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that a 2-mile resurfacing project on Susquehanna Trail in Manchester Township, York County, is set to begin next week. The project will include asphalt resurfacing, base repair, drainage replacement, guiderail updates, ADA updates, line painting, sign updates, and other miscellaneous construction. Work is scheduled to start on March 17, weather permitting, and is expected to be completed by August 8.
JVI Group, Inc. of York Springs is the contractor for this nearly $2 million project. Motorists are advised to be alert and drive with caution through the work zone as there will be short-term lane restrictions during daylight hours.
