The Pennsylvania Horse Racing Association (PHRA) has announced an exciting lineup of key dates for horse racing enthusiasts statewide. The season’s schedule features top-tier races and significant stakes that highlight the competitive spirit of horse racing in Pennsylvania.

Kicking off the season is Super Sunday at Harrah’s Philadelphia Racetrack on May 25, featuring the Maxie Lee Trot, Joseph Auger Memorial Pace, and Betsy Ross Pace. The Penn Mile at Penn National Racecourse on May 30 offers a Grade 3 race with a $400,000 purse, along with the Lyphard Stakes and With Anticipation Stakes.

The Delvin Miller Adios Pace at The Meadows on July 26 showcases the nation’s top three-year-old colts and gelding pacers, while Sun Stakes Saturday at Mohegan Pennsylvania Racetrack on August 16 boasts purse totals exceeding $2 million.

Erie’s Presque Isle Downs will host the Masters Stakes on September 19, featuring the Presque Isle Mile and Grade II Presque Isle Masters Stakes. The PA Derby at Parx Racing on September 20 includes the Pennsylvania Derby and Cotillion Stakes with $1 million Grade I purses, along with the Gallant Bob Stakes.
