The University of Pennsylvania women’s basketball team has officially secured a spot in the Ivy League Tournament, known as #IvyMadness. With a NET ranking of No. 162, the Quakers edged out Brown at No. 184 for the final spot in the tournament. This marks the third consecutive appearance for Penn in the ILT and the seventh in the last eight seasons.
As the fourth seed, Penn is set to face off against top seed Columbia on Friday at 4:30 p.m. at Brown University’s Pizzitola Sports Center in Providence. The winner of this game will advance to the championship game on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. to compete against the winner of Princeton and Harvard, with an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on the line.
