MTEN to Visit UNCW, USF, and FAU during Spring Break


The University of Pennsylvania men’s tennis team is gearing up for a spring break road trip to North Carolina and Florida after a successful six-match winning streak at home. With a 14-3 record in the dual match season, the Quakers will face UNC Wilmington, South Florida, and Florida Atlantic this week.

Penn will start their road trip against UNC Wilmington on Monday, followed by matches against South Florida on Wednesday and Florida Atlantic on Friday. The team has been dominant at home, winning 12 out of 14 matches at the Hecht Tennis Center and securing their last six wins by a combined score of 33-1.

Their recent victory over Old Dominion was a highlight of their weekend, with Manfredi Graziani taking down his second ranked opponent of the season. UNC Wilmington, led by senior Harold Huens, has faced tough competition in their recent matches. South Florida, ranked No. 36 in the ITA rankings, boasts individual talent in Hugo Car, while Florida Atlantic is coming off two consecutive wins.

John Bernard of Florida Atlantic is ranked at No. 106 in ITA singles rankings, and the team will look to continue their momentum against Penn.
