Southeast Pa. under Wind Advisory until Friday morning

The National Weather Service has issued an updated wind advisory for multiple counties in Pennsylvania, including Chester, Montgomery, Bucks, Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Delaware, and Philadelphia. The advisory is in effect from 3 p.m. Thursday until midnight on Friday, with northwest winds expected to reach 15 to 25 mph, and gusts of 40 to 50 mph. The weather service warns that these gusty winds could lead to unsecured objects being blown around, tree limbs falling, and potential power outages. They also caution that driving may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, and advise extra caution on the roads.

United Robots is providing Advance Local Weather Alerts, a service that utilizes machine learning to compile the latest data from the National Weather Service. This technology allows for real-time updates and accurate weather information to be delivered to the public promptly. Residents in the affected counties are urged to stay informed and take appropriate precautions to ensure their safety during this period of high winds. It is recommended to secure any loose objects outdoors, stay indoors if possible, and avoid unnecessary travel during this time. Please stay tuned to local news sources and the National Weather Service for further updates on this weather advisory.
