Temple Invite Marks the End of Fencing Regular Season


The University of Pennsylvania fencing teams concluded their regular season with a strong showing at the Temple Invitational. The men’s team, ranked #3 nationally, finished with a 4-1 record, while the women’s team, ranked #10, finished 2-3.

The men’s team had an impressive day, defeating opponents such as Johns Hopkins, Penn State, Stevens, and reigning Ivy League champions Princeton, finishing the regular season with a 24-7 record. The women’s team also had notable wins against Johns Hopkins and Penn State, ending the regular season with a 21-14 record.

Next, the Quakers will compete in the NCAA Regional Championships hosted by Drake University on March 8.
