Tröegs Combats Hunger by Selling Beer

Tröegs Independent Brewing, based in Hershey, Pennsylvania, has continued its Perpetual Giving campaign for the second year in a row, donating over $40,000 to Feeding Pennsylvania. The donation comes from a portion of sales of their popular Perpetual IPA craft beer during the holiday season for the past two years. This partnership aims to raise awareness and funds for local food pantries through the brewery’s Aletruism program.

Chris Trogner, co-founder of Tröegs, stated that they are proud to work with Feeding Pennsylvania and their wholesale partners to support this important cause. The brewery believes in making a positive impact in their community and sees their partnership with Feeding Pennsylvania as a way to bring out the good in people. Feeding Pennsylvania serves over 1.5 million people annually across all sixty-seven counties in the state, providing about ten meals for every dollar generated.

Julie Bancroft, CEO of Feeding Pennsylvania, commended Tröegs for their commitment to addressing food insecurity in the state. She highlighted the importance of partnerships like this in helping to strengthen the network’s ability to serve individuals and families in need. Tröegs’ Perpetual Giving campaign demonstrates their dedication to making a difference in the lives of Pennsylvanians facing hunger, showing that good beer can lead to good deeds.
