Mohegan Pennsylvania is gearing up to celebrate Mardi Gras in style with a variety of themed food and drink specials, live entertainment, and dazzling costumes. Starting on Friday, Feb. 28, guests can enjoy Mardi Gras-inspired dishes and drinks at various venues across the property until Fat Tuesday on March 4.
The highlight of the celebration will be the Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball at The Hive Taphouse on Saturday, March 1. Guests are encouraged to dress up in their best Mardi Gras-themed attire for a chance to win a $250 Mohegan Pennsylvania gift card in categories such as “Best Mardi Gras Couple” and “Most Creative.” Judges will select the winners during the event, which will also feature live music from Light Up The Moon.
Specialty drinks at The Hive Taphouse include the King Cake Martini and the Hive Hurricane, while food specials include Andouille Sausage and Smoked Chicken Gumbo, Shrimp Étouffée, and Classic Red Beans & Rice. Other venues on the property, such as Molly O’Sheas, Latitudes, The Crafty Stir, and Slice’d, will also offer themed food and drink specials in honor of Mardi Gras.
Guests can enjoy a variety of New Orleans-inspired cocktails and dishes at each venue, such as the Sweet Hurricane at Latitudes, the King Cake Latte at The Crafty Stir, and the Beignets at Slice’d. The Mardi Gras celebration promises to be a fun-filled event with something for everyone to enjoy.
