Celebrities, charities, and Kate joined by family at carol service

The Princess of Wales recently hosted her fourth annual Together at Christmas event at Westminster Abbey, attended by a host of stars, volunteers, and members of her family. Dedicated to those who have shown love, kindness, and empathy in their communities, the service will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX on Christmas Eve as part of the programme Royal Carols: Together At Christmas.

The event featured performances by Paloma Faith, Olivia Dean, and jazz singer Gregory Porter, as well as readings by actor Richard E Grant and Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery. The Princess of Wales, along with Lady Gabriella Windsor, the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, helped plan the service which also included a ballet performance in the nave of Westminster Abbey.

Prince George and Prince Louis, along with their siblings, left notes on a “kindness tree” during the event, while the Prince of Wales and other members of the royal family were in attendance. D-Day veteran Bernard Morgan, 100, who still speaks to schools and colleges about his wartime experiences, was also among the invited audience.

The evening of carols was a heartwarming event that celebrated love, empathy, and kindness in the community, as highlighted by the Princess of Wales in a voiceover recording at the start of the programme. The event showcased the importance of coming together during the holiday season to spread joy and support those who have shown compassion towards others.
