Fleet Feet, a popular sneaker retailer, has recently opened a new store in York County. Located at 1511 Mount Rose Ave. in Spring Garden Township, the store is the third location owned and operated by Shelby and Fred Joslyn. The couple also has Fleet Feet stores in Silver Spring Township and Swatara Township.

The new store will offer Fleet Feet’s personalized outfitting experience, fit id, which includes 3D foot-scanning technology to assess customers’ feet accurately. Fred Joslyn expressed his excitement about serving the York community, emphasizing the commitment to providing excellent customer service.

The store’s grand opening celebration is set for March 8, starting at 9 a.m. The event will feature a three-mile community run from the store and giveaways throughout the day. Fleet Feet, founded in 1976 and based in North Carolina, has over 275 stores in 40 states, with seven locations in Pennsylvania.

The new Fleet Feet store in York County is taking over the space previously occupied by Flying Feet Sports Shoes, as the owners of Flying Feet, Greg and Celine Baum, retired after more than 40 years in business. The Joslyns are dedicated to continuing the legacy of personal service and commitment to customers established by Flying Feet.

The opening of Fleet Feet York represents a significant milestone for the company as it expands its presence in Pennsylvania and continues to provide quality products and expertise to runners, walkers, and fitness enthusiasts of all abilities.
