Millersville Women’s Basketball Dominates Pitt-Johnstown with 76-38 Victory

Millersville’s women’s basketball team secured a decisive 76-38 victory over Pitt-Johnstown in a PSAC crossover game. The Marauders started strong, shooting an impressive 61% in the first quarter to establish a double-digit lead. Belle Bosch of Pitt-Johnstown led her team with 18 points and five rebounds, while teammates Liv West and Sophia Ott also contributed to the scoreline.

Despite a 12-4 run by Pitt-Johnstown in the second quarter, Millersville maintained their lead with key plays from Bryn Zentner and Kali March. The Marauders ended the first half with a 45-19 advantage and continued to dominate in the second half, keeping a comfortable 25-point lead.

With this victory, Millersville improved their overall record to 6-2, with standout performances from Zentner and Kelly Cleaver. Pitt-Johnstown, now 1-9 overall and 0-4 in conference play, looks ahead to an exhibition game at Colgate before returning home for a PSAC crossover doubleheader against West Chester on December 17.

The Marauders showed their strength on both ends of the court, showcasing their scoring prowess and defensive capabilities. As they continue their season, Millersville aims to build on this win and maintain their position as a top contender in the PSAC.
