Three CSFL Major Awards and Nine Quakers Named to All-CSFL Team in Sprint Football


The University of Pennsylvania sprint football team dominated in the 2024 CSFL postseason awards, with Cam Janock, Michael Malone, and Adrian Montemayor earning Player of the Year honors. Montemayor was named Special Teams Player of the Year, Janock Defensive Player of the Year, and Malone Rookie of the Year. Montemayor impressed as the placekicker and punter, Janock led the defense with tackles and sacks, and Malone showcased his talent as the team’s quarterback.

In addition to the major awards, several other Quakers players earned All-CSFL honors. Jake Inserra, Josh Johnson, and Luke Pajovich were named to the First Team for their standout performances throughout the season. Matt McKillop and Charles Tauckus earned spots on the Second Team for their contributions to the team’s success. Jake Wang received an Honorable Mention for his performance as a wide receiver.

The team’s success on both offense and defense is reflected in the number of players recognized with postseason awards. The Quakers’ strong run game and solid defensive performances led to a successful season, culminating in a strong showing in the CSFL postseason awards.
