The University of Pennsylvania fencing programs are gearing up for the 2024-25 season as they head to the Temple Open this weekend. The team is looking strong with the return of four All-Americans, including the 2024 Foil National Champion Bryce Louie. Additionally, a new group of talented fencers will be joining the program this season.
In addition to their success on the piste, the Penn fencers have also been excelling in the classroom, with 38 members of the team being named to the USFCA All-Academic Team.
The Temple Open will feature a competitive field with teams from Boston College, Duke, Navy, and others competing alongside Penn and Temple. The event will take place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia on Saturday and Sunday.
