Seven-time world champion boxer “Sugar” Shane Mosley will be making his return to the boxing ring after retiring, in the upcoming Official Celebrity Boxing event on September 28th at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack. The event, organized by CEO Damon Feldman, marks the return of Official Celebrity Boxing to Philadelphia, where Feldman grew up. Feldman, a former boxer himself, is excited to bring the fights back to his hometown and showcase what Official Celebrity Boxing is all about.
Mosley’s opponent for the OCB World Light Heavyweight Title will be announced live on September 13th. Other fights on the card include Drew Mournet vs Kimbo Slice Jr for the Unified World Super Middleweight Title, Will Stronghold vs Hank Lundy for the World Welterweight Title, and Josh Adams vs Joey DeMalavez for the United States Super Middleweight Title. Several other title fights will also take place during the event.
Music executive Damon Dash will be the celebrity guest referee at the event. Tickets are available for purchase on the Official Celebrity Boxing website.
