Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce announced on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that he will be hosting his own late-night sports talk show, “They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce,” on ESPN. The show will air at 1 a.m. for five Fridays in January and February 2025 and will feature former teammates, football legends, celebrities, and more as guests. NFL Films will also be incorporated into the show. The show will be filmed in Philadelphia at Union Transfer in front of a live audience, with Philly’s own SNACKTIME serving as the house band. Tickets will be free and available through 1iota, with more details on the process to be released in the coming weeks. Kelce, a big fan of late night shows, expressed his excitement for the opportunity to host his own show and pay tribute to NFL Films’ first full-length film, “They Call It Pro Football,” released in 1967, which will now produce his show more than 55 years later. The original film was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry in 2012 and revolutionized how football and sports were showcased on television. Fans can tune in to catch “They Call It Late Night With Jason Kelce” on ESPN, ESPN+, ESPN YouTube, and the Jason Kelce YouTube channel presented by ESPN.
