Throop and Johnson Make the Cut for NCAA XC Championships


Penn Quakers Dylan Throop and Luke Johnson have secured spots at the 2025 NCAA DI Cross Country Championships after finishing in the top 10 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional. Throop came in third in the men’s 10k race, while Johnson placed sixth. The top four finishers not from automatic qualifiers or at-large teams automatically advance to the championships. The men’s team finished seventh overall, with Nick Carpenter placing 54th. On the women’s side, the team finished seventh in the region with Olivia William leading the pack. Throop and Johnson will compete in the championships in Wisconsin on November 23.
