The University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team has officially announced its 2025 schedule as they prepare to defend their third straight Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) regular season and tournament championships. The season kicks off on January 5 with a road meet against in-state rival Penn State. The Quakers will host three meets, including the GEC Championships, with the first home meet on January 17 against Towson, Yale, and Ursinus.
Penn will travel to various locations including New Brunswick, N.J., George Washington, and Cornell before returning to Philadelphia to face Temple on February 8. The team will then compete in the Ivy Classic on February 23 hosted by Cornell. Following three consecutive away meets, Penn will return to The Palestra on March 14 for a home meet against West Virginia.
Junior Skyelar Kerico, the reigning GEC Gymnast of the Year, is among the returning athletes for the Quakers who will be looking to continue their winning streak from last year where they secured the Ivy Classic, GEC regular season, and GEC Championships titles. The team’s ultimate goal is to defend their crown at the GEC Championship on March 22 at The Palestra.
With a mix of home and away meets, the Penn gymnastics team is gearing up for an exciting season filled with tough competition and a strong desire to maintain their dominance in the Gymnastics East Conference. #FightOnPenn
