The University of Pennsylvania volleyball team had a successful season, with two players earning honorable mention recognition on the Ivy League All-Ivy teams. Sophomore outside hitter Zada Sanger led the team with 260 kills and was among the top players in the Ivy League for kills/set and points/set. Freshman middle Adell Murray was third on the team in kills but led in hitting percentage, blocks, and also had a strong performance in Ivy League play.
Junior Abigail Reid received Academic All-Ivy recognition for her achievements both on and off the court. The team finished the season with a 13-10 overall record and more wins in Ivy League play than the previous year.
“We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes for their hard work and dedication this season,” said the head coach. “They have shown tremendous growth and improvement, and we look forward to building on this success in the future.”
The Penn volleyball program continues to excel both athletically and academically, with players earning recognition for their achievements on the court and in the classroom. With a strong team and dedicated coaching staff, the Quakers are poised for continued success in the Ivy League and beyond.
