Pittsburgh Steelers Report No New Injuries Following Victory Against New York Giants

Steelers Secure Victory Over Giants, Enter Bye Week Healthy

PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Steelers emerged victorious against the New York Giants with a 26-18 win at Acrisure Stadium, a significant boost for a team that has faced a slew of injuries this season. Following the matchup, head coach Mike Tomlin reported that the team did not incur any new injuries, a welcome relief for the Steelers going into their bye week.

Although offensive linemen Dan Moore Jr. and Ryan McCollum experienced minor injuries during the game, both returned to action, mitigating concerns for the team. The Steelers previously ruled out key players including quarterback Justin Fields and outside linebacker Nick Herbig, along with center Zach Frazier and running back Cordarrelle Patterson. Fortunately, all these players are expected to return following the bye week, bolstering the team’s lineup.

Additionally, the Steelers anticipate reinforcements from injured reserve, with cornerback Cory Trice, linebacker Tyler Matakevich, and offensive tackle Dylan Cook set to rejoin the squad. Cornerback Cam Sutton will also be reinstated from the reserve/suspended list, which will enhance the team’s depth at a critical position.

As they head into the bye week, the Steelers are leading the AFC North, aiming to maintain their position as they prepare for a challenging second-half schedule. The impending return of key players is expected to provide a significant boost, increasing the team’s chances of securing the division title and a playoff spot.

The Steelers’ ability to emerge from the game unscathed, combined with the anticipated reinforcements, places them in a strong position as they gear up for the remainder of the season.
