Introducing PennLive’s Mid-Penn Football All-Star Team of the Week for October 12


PennLive’s weekly All-Star team showcases the top performers from the Mid-Penn Conference on the football field. Each week, 11 standout athletes are selected for their outstanding performances. This week, the following players have been recognized for their exceptional efforts:

Among the stars of the Mid-Penn Conference are Central Dauphin’s Max Mosley, who rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns, and Harrisburg’s John McNeil, who threw for 243 yards and four touchdowns. Bishop McDevitt’s Keaton Ellis also made the list for his two interceptions and a receiving touchdown.

Other standout players include Carlisle’s Gavyn Barnes, who ran for 204 yards and two touchdowns, and Cedar Cliff’s Jaheim Morris, who had over 200 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, Harrisburg’s Micah Parsons, who is committed to Penn State, recorded 14 tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble. Also making the list is Mechanicsburg’s Josh Ferguson, who tallied 11 tackles and two interceptions.

These players have proven themselves as the cream of the crop in the Mid-Penn Conference and continue to shine on the gridiron. Their impressive performances have earned them a spot on PennLive’s weekly All-Star team, showcasing their talent and hard work on the football field.
