Cumberland Valley’s sophomore Jaydin Holmes made a pivotal fourth-and-one play late in the fourth quarter to secure a 24-21 win over Harrisburg. Ke’aune Green had a strong performance, intercepting a pass, defending Harrisburg star Elias Coke, and catching a touchdown pass. Brady Hockenberry, Gavin Kendrick, and Elijah Sherman also had interceptions while Sherman caught a touchdown pass. Brody Pines scored a rushing touchdown. For Harrisburg, Messiah Mickens rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns and had two sacks, while Jaiyon Lewis rushed for 77 yards and threw for 116 yards. Elias Coke caught a touchdown pass. Quincy Brannon also had an interception. Cumberland Valley started strong with Green intercepting a pass that set up a touchdown. The Eagles led 21-7 at halftime, but Harrisburg fought back in the second half. Holmes made a key play on defense to stop Harrisburg’s momentum late in the game.
