The Powerball lottery jackpot continues to rise as one lucky winner in Pennsylvania took home $44 million in the August 19 drawing. The winning numbers for Wednesday’s draw are 02-26-45-46-52, Powerball: 21, Power Play: 2X. The estimated jackpot is now at $223 million with a lump sum payment of $112.2 million before taxes.
In addition to the regular drawing, the Double Play feature offers players in select locations the chance to win even more with a top cash prize of $10 million. The winning numbers for the Double Play drawing are 06-32-51-62-69 Powerball: 26.
Powerball is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The Double Play add-on feature is available in 13 lottery jurisdictions. A $2 ticket gives players a one in 292.2 million chance at hitting the jackpot.
