East Pennsboro dominated Boiling Springs in a 49-13 victory on Friday, with quarterback Turner Barlup leading the charge. Barlup achieved a perfect passer rating by completing nine of his 10 pass attempts for 254 yards and three touchdowns. Two of his touchdown passes were over 60 yards, showcasing his deep ball accuracy.
The Panthers had a balanced offensive attack, with three players notching both a rushing and receiving touchdown in the game. Aaron Angelo was a standout performer with five catches for 136 yards, including a 62-yard touchdown, and 51 rushing yards with a 16-yard score. Dayrell Everett also had an impressive showing, catching three passes for 93 yards and a 60-yard touchdown, while contributing 15 rushing yards and another touchdown on the ground. JJ Gossard made the most of his opportunities, scoring a 25-yard touchdown on his only reception and leading the team with 80 rushing yards and a touchdown.
The win showcased East Pennsboro’s offensive firepower and ability to spread the ball around to multiple playmakers. Barlup’s efficient passing and the team’s success in both the passing and running game proved to be too much for Boiling Springs to handle. The Panthers will look to carry this momentum into their next game as they continue their quest for a successful season.
