A video captured the heroic actions of Macomb County Sheriff’s Deputies in Michigan on Sept. 12 as they saved a man who suffered a medical emergency while driving. Deputies responded to a report of a silver GMC Sierra driving erratically on Gratiot Avenue in Mount Clemens, north of Detroit. The driver, a 63-year-old man, was in a daze and unable to comprehend commands. Deputy Nicole Miron climbed through the window of the moving truck to stop it and assess the driver’s condition. The Clinton Township Fire Department arrived to provide medical care and transport the man to a hospital. Sheriff Anthony Wickersham commended Deputy Miron for her quick thinking and selfless actions in preventing a potential tragedy. The incident was captured on video and has gained attention on social media. Current affairs reporter Ahjané Forbes covers trending news stories and can be contacted via email or social media.
