Qatar Airways has implemented a ban on pagers and two-way radios on flights departing from Beirut following deadly explosions in Lebanon targeting Hezbollah. The airline stated that the ban applies to both checked and carry-on luggage, as well as cargo, and will be enforced until further notice. The move comes after Hezbollah blamed Israel for attacks on its communications equipment, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah described the attacks as unprecedented in the history of the resistance and Lebanon. Qatar Airways, a major regional carrier, operates flights to over 170 international destinations from its base in Doha. This ban is in response to the recent security concerns in Lebanon and is in accordance with directives from Lebanese civil aviation authorities.
