Huettner expressed gratitude for the opportunity to create the show and is proud of the Emmy nomination. Huettner attended Kutztown University and pursued a major in fine art drawing. He taught himself animation after becoming disillusioned with college, offering advice to others who may feel it’s too late to pursue their dreams. The show was worked on remotely, even before the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing for a wider pool of artists to contribute to the project. Huettner mentioned that he occasionally travels to Los Angeles for work but prefers the Pennsylvania setting as his home. Overall, Huettner’s journey from self-taught animator to Emmy-nominated creator serves as an inspiring story for aspiring artists.
