A 37-year-old man from Adams County was arrested by Maryland State Police on Wednesday after being involved in a road rage incident where he shot at another vehicle. The incident took place in Frederick County, with multiple bullet holes found in the victim’s vehicle. Despite the shots fired, the victim was uninjured, and police were able to recover a bullet from the vehicle. The suspect was later identified as Bryant Paradine from Littlestown. After locating his vehicle and executing a search warrant, police found a loaded 9-millimeter handgun and a spent shell casing of the same caliber. Paradine was charged with attempted homicide, use of a gun in commission of a felony, and related offenses. He is currently awaiting a court appearance before a district court commissioner at the Maryland State Police Frederick Barracks. The suspect’s actions are a stark reminder of the dangers of road rage and the importance of controlling one’s emotions while driving. It serves as a cautionary tale for all drivers to de-escalate conflicts on the road and avoid taking actions that could result in serious consequences.
