Award-winning rapper Little Simz is set to take over the Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall for a special night of art and music on August 31. The collaboration is part of the Tate Modern Lates series, which offers a mix of art, music, film, workshops, and talks.
Little Simz, whose real name is Simbiatu Abisola Abiola Ajikawo, will curate the event and be joined by broadcaster Clara Amfo to discuss her inspirations and relationship with visual art. The night will also feature a dance workshop led by Simz’s choreographer Kloé Dean, DJ sets, art chats with artist Es Devlin and others, and workshops on zine-making and cartoon coloring.
